Create the front page, chapters, book downloads, and blog pages.
Creating Front Page
To create the fullscreen slider home page go to Pages > Add New, write the page title and from the sidebar Template option select Front Page.
A menu with options for the Front Page will appear. Use the Add Section button to create additional sections (See the next section for more information on them).
When you are ready, hit the Publish button.
Front Page Sections
Here is a list of short descriptions for each of the sections that can be inserted in the front page:
Each section has a unique id field. It is used if you want to link to that section when clicking on a sidebar link. For example, if the id is 'section-1', you can link to it in the navigation menu using link with URL http://yoursite.com/home#section-1. Note: Don't use intervals.
Hero Image
Here you can select the big image for the top of the page, insert text on top of it in the form of HTML and select if you want to have a dark black background behind the text so it can be seen more clearly.
Read the Book
You can fill it with some info for the book, including some Read or Buy buttons if you want.
Characters
This is a slider which you can fill with your characters and for each of them, you can insert a background image.
Author
Author photo and information.
Features
You can insert icon boxes with info for the book.
Blog
This section will display the latest 3 Blog Posts in your post.
Contact
This is the contact form of the site. Make sure that you've written your correct e-mail in the Receiving Email field.
Creating a Chapter
Go to Book Chapters menu in the sidebar and select Add New, write the Chapter title.
You can create as many Chapters as you want. They will appear in the book sample in the order of creation.
To point each chapter to the corresponding books use the Chapter Belongs To menu at the right:
Chapter Belongs To is required. Without this link the Read button has nothing to display and the book-flip reader will appear empty. If you're troubleshooting a broken Read button, check this field first - see the FAQ.
When you are ready, hit the Publish button.
Creating the Book Download
The theme uses the Easy Digital Downloads plugin. Here is a quick tutorial on the basics of the plugin and some of its shortcodes.
Go to Downloads menu in the sidebar and select Add New, write the Book title.
All the needed fields and options will appear. Please notice the Book Cover and Book Details fields at the bottom. The Book Details field contains the text that appears on the Single Book download page.
Make sure that you've inserted a Featured Image (in the sidebar) - it will be used as a background image in the header.

Write down the download ID. You'll need it for both the Read button ([button type="read" id="..."]) and the Buy button ([purchase_link id="..."]). Find it under Downloads → All Downloads - if the IDs in your shortcodes don't match, the buttons won't work. See the FAQ if a button misbehaves.
You can use the Permalink (below the Title) to create a button in another page to your book, like so:

When you are ready, hit the Publish button.
Blog Page
Go to Pages > Add New, write the page title and from the sidebar Template option select Blog.
Then click the Publish button.
Make sure that when you navigate to Settings > Reading in the WordPress admin sidebar there is nothing selected for Post Page. Selecting Blog will make it stop working.
