Products, Vendors & Vouchers

Create deals, external products, register vendors, and set up memberships and PDF vouchers.

After you install and set up WooCommerce you will have the option to create Products for your shop. To show, sell or redirect the different Offers and Coupons, these Products are styled and configured to fulfill that purpose. These are the items that appear in the Shop Page as well as the All Products and Product Slider Shortcodes.

In the Admin Panel, go to Products > Add New. On the Right Side from the Product Category you can add Categories to the current product (deal). Here you can also add the Product Image and Product Gallery.

Here is a description of all of the fields on the page:

  • Main Content - the text displayed in the description in the Single Product Page.

Main Content

  • Product Data - contains all of the additional WooCommerce fields. Here you can select the Product Type as well as insert the Price, Type of Product, Stock Status, Additional Attributes and more.

Product Data

  • Product Fields - here you can adjust the Ribbon Text for the deal. You can also set the Expiring Date - when you choose a day, the offer will end at 00:00 (the beginning of) that day. There is also the option to select a Location for that Product (Deal).

Product Fields

Expired deals are hidden automatically. If a product disappears from the shop it's usually because its Expiring Date has passed or the expiring product checkbox isn't enabled. Expired deals also can't be added to cart. The field uses Ymd format (for example 20260601). See Deals, Products & Coupon Codes for the full checklist.

  • Product Short Description - the text displayed next to the Product Image in the Single Product Page, under the Price for the Product.

More Information and how to create External Deals can be found in the Create an External Product section.

Another conditional field is the Vendor field. It is shown after installing and activating the WC Vendors plugin.

Register Vendors

The theme is created to be fully compatible with the WC Vendors Plugin. It is a free plugin which allows users to register as vendors, who can submit products and earn commissions on each sale. You can read a detailed guide on their official website.

After installing and activating the plugin you can adjust its settings in Admin Dashboard > WooCommerce > WC Vendors.

WC Vendors Settings

You also have the option to manually add and edit Users, who are Vendors. In the Admin Dashboard > Users you can select/create an user and make him a Vendor.

WC Vendors User

After making an user a Vendor, there are be additional options available that can be adjusted for that user - Commission Rate, Shop Logo, Seller Info. Most importantly make sure that a Vendor has a Shop Name as that name is used throughout the site to display the Vendor.

WC Vendors User

Each Vendor can also edit his options from the Account Dashboard by logging in to the website.

Frontend Vendor

Vendor dashboard not loading? CouponSeek's vendor features only work when WC Vendors is active and the user actually has the vendor role. Remember to set a Shop Name on each vendor - CouponSeek uses that name throughout the site. Full checklist in Vendors & WC Vendors.

Creating a Membership Plan

The theme supports WooCommerce Memberships plugins which enables creating paid plans for memberships of your site. If you only want to manually grant access to memberships on your site, you can skip this setup step. If you’d like to sell membership access, you’ll need to create a product to do so. Memberships are not a particular product type; instead, they can be tied to any kind of product on your site. You can find a quick start guide here

When you publish your membership product, you will see it appearing along your deals. You can hide it by going to its edit page and changing the visibility to Private.

Product Visibility

Setting the membership product's catalog visibility to Private keeps it out of the main deals grid while leaving it purchasable through its membership landing page. See Membership showing as a deal.

You can read more about the plugin here.

Creating a PDF Voucher

The theme comes with a support for WooCommerce - PDF Vouchers plugins which provides you the option to generate printable PDF voucher codes. To create a PDF Voucher Product you will have to make it Simple product with Downloadable checkbox enabled or Variable product.

The PDF Vouchers tab only appears on specific product types. It's added by the third-party plugin and shows up on Simple products with the Downloadable checkbox enabled, or on Variable products. It will not appear on External / Affiliate products. See PDF Vouchers FAQ.

This will open and additional tab with WooCommerce Fields called PDF Vouchers just under Advanced. Clicking on it will provide you with all the options that the plugin gives for editing.

You can also create Voucher Templates by going to WooCommerce > Voucher Templates** in the admin dashboard. You can read more about the Drag & Drop interface here.
